The idea for this blog started upon viewing countless Asian Boys' Love Dramas and Movies and I was thinking: "What if I don't have to spend time watching all these wonderful, and sometimes regrettable pieces of work, if someone could just run it down for me, before I started delving into them? Wouldn't that be great?"
I also imagined that the characters were thinking aloud, or they could be making running commentaries on the state of things, and sometimes talking to us, the audience. If they were speaking in English and pressed for time, what would they have said. If I were playing these lovely, sometimes unsavory characters, what would I have said, how the conversations would have taken place. So please take this blog as a whimsical journey to the land of Yaoi and Shounen Ai.
Navigating the Blog
To make the scope of this blog more compact, the focus is on Asian BL Dramas and Movies only that are live-action. Anime/Manga/Novels and the like are not included. This blog will feature only the 5 countries listed on the header (China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand). Dramas and movies from other Asian countries not listed under its separate tab will be under "Others." Please note that, because life happens, I am not able to venture a lot into this "Other" segment.
The "Top" Segment will list my favorites, but not necessarily the best, of dramas and movies, and other categories. After all, this is purely subjective and what I like, you may not like and vice versa. So we just have to agree to disagree.
The "Bottom" Segment will list those dramas, and movies, and other categories, which I felt were a waste of time that I unfortunately cannot get back. Hopefully, this will spare you from the same torture, unless you are brave enough or bored enough to tackle them.
The "Q & A" Section will address some questions regarding the decision-making process of why some titles are included, while others are not, and other concerns you may have along the way.

Content of the main blog posts may vary. It could be a review of a particular drama/movie, while exploring its underlying themes. They also may contain commentary on social, political, or other types of issues relating to Asian BL. Please keep in mind that all views in this blog are of the author's and are purely subjective.

Dramas and movies listed will be in Alphabetical order, and not by Year, although the Year will be shown along with the title. Media format will also be indicated to differentiate among several forms of the same title.
All titles will be in English rather than in their native language, unless there is no official translation or the English title is less known or obscure. The secondary title, if available, will appear alongside the primary title in which the work is known. If a title is part of a series, then discretion is made to list the work as part of the series or as a stand-alone title. More on this criteria in the
